Week 8

Here we are in week 8, concluding our reading of Adaptable. This last chapter describes the power of tiny habits. “It is about small, 1 percent experiences that over time add up to powerful learning and growth.”

Read: Chapter 17

Reflect: Post your response to the prompt below by Monday morning.

Tiny habits can be used in our classrooms and schools in a variety of ways. Juliani suggests that we start small. Try a few in your class or school every day and then begin “stacking” the habits as you master the daily practice with one of them. What goals can you set for yourself? Explain a goal you have for yourself as a next step in your journey to build a better learning experience for students. How will you measure your progress with this goal?

Interact: On Monday, read your colleagues' reflections and respond to at least one other post by sharing a comment, insight, or interesting possibility by next Thursday.
