In chapter 13, the author lists seven ways that technology can be used with a purpose. As you look over that list, which one(s) match up with your purpose for bringing technology into the classroom? Provide an example of how you try to meet that purpose in your classroom or your school.

In chapter 14, Juliani discusses the power of incorporating story even in assignments that don’t lend themselves immediately to a narrative format. On page 140, he offers suggestions for structures for how students could tell a story. Read through this list and decide if any of the ideas would match up with any lessons or activities you might assign this year. Or talk about how you have or might give more choice in the ways in which students use tools to present their story to their audience (page 141).
